SMACK SPOTLIGHT: MIKRODOT & SALTY - DOSE OF SALT EP

Powerhouse producers Salty & Mikrodot are set to storm through Brooklyn on Friday, February 16. The duo are primed to showcase an arsenal of new tunes in support of their new collaborative Dose Of Salt EP. The independently released project delivers a trifecta of heavy-hitting tunes via Mikrodot’s label High Vibration Audio.

The EP kicks off with “Cha Cha,” a murky stomper which features a saucy bassline and hilarious vocal sample. Mikrodot and Salty capture the listener’s imagination right out the gate with “Cha Cha,” delivering a high energy dance-friendly groove.

The twosome keep the hits coming with the hip-hop leaning track “My Hood.” Mingling dark dubstep sonics with Project Pat’s signature flow, Salty & Mikrodot collide worlds into one head-nodding classic.

The closing track “Club Up” brings the Dose Of Salt EP to a pulsating finale. Sweeping bass synths and percolating percussive elements mingle to create a perfect dubstep cocktail. Equal parts smooth and deep the Dose Of Salt EP scratches the itch for soundsystem heads and marks a set to come when Mikrodot & Salty touch down in Brookyn this month.
